But why didn't your client claim from their own insurer? if liability had been accepted why would clients own insurer not waive your clients excess and as such utilise the insurance they had purchased.
I get 100's of requests exactly like yours on a monthly basis and these requests are always with a threat to place their client in credit hire, when I call these firms to discuss their letter I'm always greeted " their client DOES not have to use their insurance" even if liability is disputed!! so I would say you guys and your advice to your clients are also part of the larger problem
