Once upon a time the Co-op distinguished itself from the other supermarket traders by maintaining standards and having ethics. That time has passed. Now - as this story evidences and reiterates - it has in snout in the trough with all the other 'do anything for a quick buck' merchants. I mourn the passing of the organisation I knew when I was younger. It has gone the way of all flesh.
