However, the main message is that unless the Claimant PI sector does something drastic now, it's game over. CMCcs are going to ride in like the old Wild West and there will be absolute havoc. Those CMCs will then take a large proportion of what little damages are recoverable from folks who venture out on their own on some sort of contingency basis, whereas now most PI firms restrict their success fees to nil under the new style CFAs.
