The simple priority here should be the protection of the individual rights of the (Muslim) women involved. Too often Muslim women are discriminated against under religious law / Sharia and they are prevented (by fear or duress or culture or lack of information) from seeking proper redress. There is therefore systemic discrimination against Muslim women in the UK. Pure logic dictates that one law for all is the only way to ensure equal treatment.
