Accountants will always have an advantage in being the first port of call because of the need for annual accounts and the complexities of the tax system. But it would be interesting to know if accountants are less expensive than lawyers. Or, if they are more expensive, are they better value for money, and if so, why? This is a serious question, because from the briefest of looks at the report I don’t see that it has been addressed. Research on this would be interesting.
