The Supreme Court really needs to try harder to produce unanimous decisions. Far too many of its decisions contain dissents or speeches involving differences of emphasis, which do nothing to clarify the law for those who are trying to apply it on a day-to-day basis. They simply promote yet further argument at first instance and Court of Appeal level.
