The most interesting statistic is that the NDAs were so complex that it took a trained lawyer an average of 92 minutes to review the same. This is not the first study to have been reported looking at NDAs, and this is probably because the issues are pretty common, and the language may be easier for the AI to recognise and analyse. It will be more interesting when AI can do a full review of, say, a construction contract for a power station (and all the annexes), including an overall commercial review. I suspect that may be a little way off.
