OK, so what do we do when we do not have the defendant / debtor's correct address?

If the debtor / defendant does not provide a proper address for service is the claimant to be denied?

If there is no prospect of successfully defending the Judgment why should it be set aside?

As to the register, I can see the compelling case for a change to the rules here, my insurers left me with a CCJ because they couldn't deal with a simple credit hire claim: and then didn't pay the J in Default in time.

Fortunately the claimant's solicitors were agreeable to setting J aside otherwise it would have been a bloody mess.
