In this digital age is it not possible for property owners to register a personal pin number or thumb print at Land Registry so that when they dispose of the property their thumb or pin has to be entered by them over their Solicitors LR portal to verify the transaction at an early stage.

I appreciate this might be inconvenient for those firms who mail everything out and never meet clients but it brings us back to "know your client". Make sure you meet them at least once!
