I am fascinated and dismayed by the moral relativism that some of the commentators have shown here. This man worked for a charity which was there to provide funded work on a pro bono basis. He charged extra fees for that work, using the name and resources of the charity in doing so and concealed that fact from the charity along with retaining the money he took. This doesn't sound far off from fraudulent conduct to me, given the intentional deception of both charity and clients. It is totally irrelevant as to what kind of services he was providing and to whom and at what price.
