I suppose the promise is a reduction of £35 against what it might have been. So if insurance goes up by £50 you'll see a net increase of £15.

It's all rubbish though - my multicar renewal was £900 or so when the insurer's own website quoted £780 or so. A competitor quoted £566 with better add-ons.

No I don't have 2 cars - one is my wife's.

Give it 2 years and most PI firms will be gone as will most RTA insurance claim handlers. Lots of redundancies and a big ol' bill for the Gov because of the impact.
