I tend to agree with you (as a claimant lawyer!). They have only themselves to blame. They now try and point the finger at CMC's as if they have never been in bed with them for all these years.

The public will get on just fine without the whiplash culture, just like they do in many other countries throughout the world.

A2J love quoting other countries that have higher whiplash costs, but they never point out that those countries are also concerned about the levels and are often looking to do something about it too.

I have huge sympathy for all the paralegals, solicitors and office staff that work for these organisations though. I think we all care about them!

This has been an 'industry' for too long. It would be nice to get it back to a 'profession'.
