Posted following on other thread before reading this one

"It has to be remembered that SRA only came into being because the government belatedly acknowledged that the Law Society was not fit for purpose as a complaint handler protecting the public.

Now its logic in claiming that clients should have reduced protection because solicitors could get into crime/negligence which is too big for it to handle indicates to me that it is going the same way and, perhaps, needs replacing without delay"
