Surely an NDA, especially if it's any body connected with the State that's covering up with it, is dishonest and lacking in integrity, and no lawyer should have any part in it. If anyone pops up here to argue that it's not illegal, I would point them to the many solicitors who have posted here recently to insist that a penalty, inc striking off, does not require illegality, and that potential clients and the public would see positive honesty and integrity as more important than mere legality, which they would expect in any business transaction.
It would be very good if that attitude extended to 'help' with tax transactions.
