There won't be a ban on referrals fees in my view ,although there may be more regulation around transparency of them . Even if they were banned , little would change in reality , just look at the PI market to see how things just moved and didn't go away.
Anonymous comments lambasting all agents is not the answer . There are good agents and bad agents just as there are good conveyancing firms and bad ones . Furthermore, not all small ones are good and not all large ones are bad . The process is not currently fit for purpose and I think the review should concentrate of fixing the process rather than seeking to allocate " blame" to parties in that process.
