Come off it Derek. "The main reason claims escalated was because the industry took a short sighted view and settled claims without proper investigation." Or there was 'hard selling' at airports and around hotels encouraging people to make spurious claims, which are very difficult to disprove, and absent cleat evidence to the contrary would probably be paid out. How much 'investigation' would you expect to take place for an 'upset tummy' claim, in the real world?
