Lord Keen's performance at the Justice Select committee a couple of months ago might go some way to explain why he wasn't so "keen" to hang around for questions today. How did it go again ?

Jusitce Select Committee :

Q : You are wanting to introduce changes to prevent fraud. Do you know how many fraudulent claims have been made ?

A : We have some numbers.

Q : Can you confirm those numbers ?

A : The numbers depend on a variety of things.

Q : But you say that those numbers, whatever they might be, need reducing ?

A : Indeed, yes.

If it wasn't so serious, it could be a Yes Minister script.
