I see the shadow Justice Secretary had the gall to turn up. Presumably as a politician his memory is too short, or perhaps too selective (or maybe both) to remember it was the Labour Government, under Tony Bliar, aided and abetted by Derry Irvine, who introduced and passed the Access to Justice Act, more correctly known as the Denial of Access to Justice Act.
