Have been there myself and but for a fraught wife coming to find me I wouldn't be here now.

The profession has not coped with the changes the modern world brings.

It is hard dealing with someone who is used to such instant gratification nowadays that thinks buying a house should be on the same basis. Expectations are harder to manage.

There is no respite and moreover the financial rewards dwindle whilst the responsibility widens and widens and widens.

This isn't what I signed up for but now I am trapped in this joke of a 'profession'
