David - I take your point - but Savoir-faire boarded the bus long ago. and the young 'uns can't be blamed for that (nor their woeful, target obsessed education). some sort of collective insanity descended upon the profession and we have become a punch bag for every mad idea going.

I headed off into the sunset the day the Land Registry started making me fill out their forms for them and those awful SDLT forms came in.

The law is still as fascinating as ever - we have just found a very odd way of practising it.
