Since the virtual demise of Legal Aid, many Clients bringing cases, and possibly facing ruin and the pressures naturally involved in this, now expect Solicitors to get on with it, and carry out their duties as per Contract, More so than before. It's generally the ordinary Client's own future way of life and money at stake. There are many more entrants to University, not just for Law, who are not prepared for the hard work and real knowledge required to do whatever their chosen field is. So a Solicitor should not expect to avoid complaints and the SRA do appear to reject most of the complaints. By the very nature of the Legal process there are deadlines, most jobs have them. Sadly every Profession and place of work is subjected to the same pressures and if you can't take it, find another type of work.
