At times it is difficult not to think there is some vendetta from the Law Gazette against solicitors who practice personal injury law. This article has the sensationalist headline "PI solicitors banned" yet the very next article is simply "Strike off for head-butt solicitor", with no mention of area of practice. My point is that case handling and professional negligence issues can happen in any specialism. On top of this comments are enabled on this article, presumably for the vulture-like frenzy it creates amongst our ranks, whereas this is not possible on the other article. I am not in any way whatsoever condoning what these individuals have done, but I do object to the way the Law Gazette appears to attempt to sow division.
