I don't get where all the reported 31 to 35k job losses within the sector are coming from then as its certainly not going to affect many of the top earning solicitors or CEO's.
I'm aware simply from my dealings with panel firms that their legal executives are simply administrative roles and are only trained in one field hence the huge numerous repeated job adverts online which also show a wage package either similar or less than regular administrative jobs.
I have never once managed to speak to a legal executive about liability or quantum on the claims when I used to deal with PI, the fact the MOJ handler changes the moment liability is disputed speaks volumes
