Whilst family lawyers may not welcome online divorce petitions it is clear that the public want the process of extricating themselves from an unhappy marriage to be made easier and less costly.
Any process that cuts out the middle person is bound to save costs and time.
Lawyers can still advise and represent parties in respect of finance and children which will be much harder to digitalise.
