So how exactly do these tariffs reduce fraud?

The only plausible assessment of this intended legislation is that everybody who has ever claimed for whiplash has necessarily exaggerated/inflated their claim. Hence the only way to discourage/alleviate fraud is to reduce the award made and thus discourage people from claiming (at all).

Otherwise how does reducing the awards reduce fraud? After all isn't that what this whole movement was about? Reducing fraud? Decreasing premiums for the innocent motorist.

Why should somebody who is injured at work through the fault of their employer receive more compensation for an identical injury (suffered by a motorist). How does that make any sense?

This is the most corrupt piece of legislation of recent times.
