Whoever brokered that deal for the MOJ is in idiot. Given they are bulk purchasing 900 laptops I would have thought they could have obtained a far better deal than that. This is why you always hear there is not enough money for this or that, it is because the funds have been squandered by amateurs who cannot broker a decent deal. But then it would appear the public sector in general has something of a blind spot when it comes to IT and value for money.
