It is all well and good saying that the finest traditions of the Bar should continue for those generations yet to come, but Munby appears to be under the illusion that the Bar will still exist as it ought to when that time arrives.

The way things are going, it will have been decimated further - and whomever holds high judicial office at that time would no doubt criticise barristers for not taking action when they had a chance.
