Even the responsible press and media have not dug deep enough to really bottom these issues and the vastly resourced insurance lobby machine mantras have slipped into parlance, as they planned.

It's only now, at last, that the repeated statements of "fact", like "increasing numbers of claims" (demonstrably actually decreasing on the independent CRU figures), have finally met an iceberg of truth with this committee.

This committee has taken the considerable time and trouble to bottom the issues. Mr Dalton, et al, and I'd include Lord Keen, disgracefully, in that camp, have been scorched by the salient and, when truth be told, real questions and facts. They wilted, slinking away, red-faced with their pants pulled down. Facts please. Not self-serving soundbites.

The bottom feeder factory firms and CMCs have such slim margins that a sensible and just switch to a £2000 Small Claims Limit and the abolition of the nonsense tarriffs will do enough to rid us of their blight.

Not much wrong with the common law after all.
