Utter nonsense. Anyone who follows this "advice" is a fool and derives all they get. Chasing price and pushing work down the ladder to less able people who charge less is NOT the way to build a secure future.
You work out what you must charge to prosper.
You work out how what you charge is justified in relation to your offering.
You stick to your guns and you keep your clients happy and make a profit.
If you offer excellent service people will pay more. If you want to stack 'em high and sell cheap go work in Lidl.
