It is sort of silly to get into a slanging match about which profession does the most work for free. These days we have fixed fees stupid legal aid rates and cfa's which means everyone ends up doing work for free.. what we have to try to do is to earn sufficient to pay for our overheads whilst giving good and affordable advice to clients and have a reasonable profit for doing so .. - worrying about every chargeable hour and converting all those units into cash well - it ain't going to happen no more.. so support the action which all sides of the legal profession are doing to make sure we can actually try to continue to provide access to justice!
