Comment

It is very easy to scoff at barristers for "havin' it easy" and taking the glory when it is the solicitors who do the real graft.

The reality is that it does not matter which branch of the profession you are in, you should not be underpaid for the work that you do. Also, you should not work for free.

I really hope that both sides (solicitors and barristers) in the criminal sector get a pay rise but I doubt it.
