I agree with both posts below.
Whilst there may be difficulties in enforcement if these calls are routed from overseas, where is the real harm in an outright ban? I can't see any reason at all, never mind a good reason, why the simple approach of banning them, isn't the only thing to do.
If anyone knows if there is some hidden agenda why these companies should be allowed to plague everyone, and just get fined (but have problems recovering those fines), I'd be delighted to hear it.
