I admit to being a bit 'old in the tooth' these days and sometimes wonder what day it is, let alone unfathom the mysteries of much else going on around me, so I wonder whether someone can explain to me (as though I was an eight year old) what on earth is the benefit of having the SRA and the LSB in addition to The Law Society when we all managed for so very long without them! Is it just 'jobs for the boys' (ooops, I meant to put 'and girls' in there as well - sorry!), or is there some really valid and worthwhile reason for it?
