To be fair to the judge, before whom I admit immediately I have not appeared, Employment Tribunal Hearings can try the patience of a judicial saint.

I speak having recently endured what became a 14 day Tribunal hearing as Respondents' Solicitor, the Claimant in person being represented by his mother, also in person and unqualified. Although slightly off topic, it is relevant to say that had both parties been represented, the length of the hearing would probably have been 5 days at most.

While clearly sorely tried on many occasions during the course of the hearing, the Employment Judge presiding was courteous throughout, if somewhat firm on occasions, although frankly how he kept his cool at certain points in the light of what he was faced with from the Claimant's representative, is quite beyond me.
