For decades the whole area of Lawyers fees has skated very close if not breached Competition/Price fixing laws that would not be allowed in any other industry. It is long overdue that the amounts per hour that lawyers are allowed to claim in contentious matters should be severely reduced. IF they stopped claimants claiming back all of their legal fees from the losing side you would then find a lot less litigation .
