You really have to marvel at this: Windrush citizens have been dealt with abjectly by Home Office intransigence (belatedly admitted), many with livelihoods destroyed and incapable of funding independent advice. Whatever reforms are made (and one has slight doubts) how does anybody with any regard for humanity seriously expect people who have been thoroughly destroyed to trust the Home Office without independent advice. Complete isolation from reality (and, one awfully expects, with an eye to minimizing the financial fall out).
