So a letter before action in respect of a potential claim is now to be deemed 'aggressive'? Nonsense. And the employer 'trawling' a work history in response to allegations against it is somehow to be held against their lawyer? Further nonsense.

Much more importantly, however, who specifically is alleged to have been corrupt? What, specifically, was the nature of the corruption? Has it been reported to the police? If not, why not?

I would hope those questions were asked by Mr Walters and, if they were not, I would hope he recognises that he is not fit for purpose as a journalist within this publication.
