No Ali, the SRA are in awe of some and not of others. For example, they are challenged by the Government about non disclosure agreement and suddenly they are all over it. They bend over backwards for City firms and ABS and concentrate on what they perceive to be low hanging fruit. Often they call it wrong with said low hanging fruit but nevertheless they persist and then proceed no matter how minor the breach with no thought of their statutory obligations or protecting the public and the rule of law. Fearless and.without favour they are not. Erratic, self serving and disfunctional would be a better description.
