It is difficult to remain positive but I think smaller firms may come out of this better than the larger firms use to the bulk processing of these claims since their restructuring costs will be much lower and I suspect the larger firms may simply pull out altogether. There will always be claims for non whiplash injuries and 5k plus claims. The paralegals will be wiped out. I foresee smaller solicitor / partner driven firms doing lower volume / higher margin cases.
