It does not appear to have dawned on anyone that attorneys are open to completely spurious allegations being made against them by other family members who are jealous of their position. This is exactly what happened to clients of mine. Having complied with the donor's wishes as to certain lifetime gifts, they were removed following an investigation instigated by a non-recipient daughter whose relationship with her mother (the donor) was difficult.
