I am currently an employment law solicitor and SRA regulated. I pay a considerable premium for PII (never had any claims), and will shortly have to publish my costs for Tribunal Work (of which no two have ever been the same in the last 15 years). I do not operate a client account as that would add considerably more burden and expense.

If I've been following the SRA updates correctly, I can now:

1. Still call myself a solicitor, but not be regulated, by working in an SRA 'safe space'.
2. Still use words like employment law (as long as I make it clear that the rights of redress are not the same a law firm)
3. Not have to comply with daft price publishing rules
4. Pay far less for insurance
5. Put client money into my own bank account.

Where do I sign?
