Any female performer on the BBC who has been paid through a company should forfeit any equal pay claim which she might have asserted. The BBC made its contract with the company, and companies, not being natural persons, have no gender.

They can't have it both ways; if they want the tax advantages of not being directly employed they should not have the rights which come with being employed.
