My husband plays second-fiddle to my career. He does housework, cooks, washes, irons, etc., and he's an alpha-male! We've been together for nearly 30 years - it's a relationship of equals.

I made it clear from the get-go that I wasn't his mother and even though he couldn't do anything (at all), he surely learnt. I also taught him DIY, to change plugs, etc.
