James Brenan, Hall Brown don't do any public law so conflict is, as far as I can see, pretty much impossible.

A commercial court is not, with respect, dealing with the absolutely most vulnerable members of society who are being let down by their government and the legal system generally.

In an ideal world it is absolutely right that a law firm should not be required to financially prop up a groundbreaking, successful court that genuinely makes a lifelong difference to families. However, we are not in that ideal world and this venture is attempting to throw out a lifejacket to something that should be funded by MOJ.

The alternative is to see it sink, and drag more families through the impossible task of becoming drug or alcohol free in 26 weeks whilst going through the most stressful process of their lives.

This needs to be supported and applauded.
