Virtually every "paralegal" advert I see is misleading and generally the people within the industry support this by suggesting "legal execs" or whatever you call them are more than admin staff despite the salary being minimum wage.
I had 2 interviews at 2 of the largest defendant panel firms who both offered the world, once I proved I was worth keeping, I know plenty of people who still work for these companies and I'm glad I turned down both jobs.
If any partners or solicitors think their staff at this level are happy then think again or how about maybe actually speaking to those guys who probably work in a small dirtier office the cheaper side of town
