Interesting what you say. A friend of a friend, says that her partner who is a Director at a top Bank is paid ok (£90k or so), for a 75 hour week (that's £25.00 per hour not allowing for travelling in from some far flung citadel of 'appropriateness (also read petty snobbery, racism jealousness and prejudice generally) like Surbiton or Tunbridge Wells).

For that £25.00 per hour they are always looking over their shoulder as the Bank keeps them insecure to keep them on the treadmill.

And after a 75 hour week I doubt if there is much space for extra curricular activities.
