Whilst I do not condone the increasing costs challenges in low value personal claims, I do think the solicitors bills rules are ancient and needs to be simplified. There is a perception out there that bills and costs are often too high and many Solicitors themselves struggle with drafting accurate bills.
I hate to say it but Mark Carlisle does make some valid points and Solicitors have to be aware of all the possible risks in the future.
