I agree with Anon (26 July 10.11 GMT).
We live unfortunately in a disposable society and if people are going to get married they should realise it's a serious commitment.
However, if you really can no longer live as a couple and want to get divorced, make sure you do things properly and when given the opportunity to throw the book at your spouse to get over the hurdle of unreasonable behaviour, just do it.
I've read and re-read what happened to the case at first instance and cannot understand the orders that were made which (if made on the advice of Counsel) were only going to make it difficult for the wife to succeed! She only has herself to blame, or that of her solicitors or counsel and for which she could spend any money she may have left (after her Supreme Court bill has been paid) thinking about a professional negligence claim!!
