“Suspected misconduct” seems too broad a term; is it conduct around DPA, financial/fiscal, interpersonal (e.g. racial or gender bias)? There has been a case recently many will be aware of whereby one person accused another of sexual misconduct, but this has since been proved false, without any authority getting involved.

The consultation will be interesting; Whatever the results, the opposite is more likely to happen... I’ve just had an idea.
