I find this thought provoking in many ways; Mainly that she had used her personal account, not the firm’s one. Had she used the firm’s account, I would probably think 18 months might even be lenient, as then one might interpret it as the opinions of solicitors, although it would be quite an extreme interpretation.

Many find the Abrahamic religions histories of intolerance, war, speech-/thought-censoring abhorrent, as are many of the religious practices still around today – A recent FGM article genuinely brought a tear to my eye.

While I appreciate her comments may not have been censored, many people have views or opinions that they are able to put aside when practicing their profession. They are her views, which are in the public domain; Any damage done is to herself. I don’t believe any rational person would find her opinions representative of the profession any more than my postman’s are of the Royal Mail.
